high CPU utilization while using artix5.5 with java8

we have recently upgraded our application from java6 to java8. artix version is same i.e 5.5. Since then CPU utilization of the processes is very high.

can aritx5.5 be responsible for this?

does artix provides different libraries for solaris 10 with java 8 ?
