Visual COBOL for VS 2019

I've installed Visual COBOL for VS 2019 but don't have a Start Menu item for VC and I do not see Visual COBOL under the Micro Focus for Visual COBOL.

I have ADO.Net, Classic data, Date File, Enterprise Server, Open ESQL, Samples and 2 VC Command prompts, 32 & 64 bit.

Have I installed this incorrectly ?

Thank you!

  • Yes, you have installed it correctly. There is no shortcut to Visual COBOL for Visual Studio in the 2019 version. You start Visual COBOL by starting Visual Studio instead. You can create a link to Visual Studio and place it on your taskbar to make it easier..
