Visual COBOL Product License ERROR

Already tried both the 16 Alphanumeric / Serial numbers sent from email and the downloaded .XML file , same error

    That does not appear to be a valid authorization code.

    Please use the Browse button to navigate to the XML file on disk and try selecting and installing that.

    The XML file should be on a local drive and not on a network one.

    and also as a reminder it is not a good idea to post screenshots containing sensitive data like licenses and serial numbers to a public forum.

    Hi Chris, Thank you for your time to response.. 

    the xml file is located in my drive c:\user\user\download\.xml

     Yes, i use the browse button to locate the XML file , then input it together with the 16 digit code/serial number, is this steps correct? then click authorize , then get the errors 

    i also tried to install the license manager (msi)  , but got the same error

    What Visual COBOL product version do you have installed?
    By the look of the License Manager screen, it seems to be an older version.
    What is the name of the installer file for Visual COBOL?

    The License Manager is already installed. It is installed as part of the Visual COBOL install,

    You should only browse to the file and then click on Authorize or Install License.
    There should be no 16-digit code specified.
