Adding a Field to Database Need to Change XFD

I am using DB Connectors with Visual COBOL - and in my DataBase, I need to add a new field to a table -

What is the best way for me to go about doing this?  I know I will have to create an new XFD  - but do I just write a SQL script to add the field, and then just create a new XFD?

While you can use the SQL script to add a column, and edit the XFD, is your COBOL program reading and/or writing data to the database - probably yes, so the FD in the COBOL program needs to have this field added as well. You add the field to the FD, make a new XFD, and then add the field into the database.
