Migrating GroupWise archives to PST or 365 in bulk

Hi,

We want to migrate GroupWise archives to PST or O365 in bulk.

We tried a tool from Stellar Convertor for GroupWise Technician.

https://www.stellarinfo.com/blog/different-modes-of-stellar-groupwise-to-pst-converter-technician/

However migrating an archive can be done with a single mailbox as the same time.

This is very time consuming.

Do you guys have another solutions?

    Hi Joeri,

At the moment, I do not. There are, or were, a number of tools available. The best one would depend on what you are trying to accomplish so perhaps some additional information would help.

    • Is your source a GroupWise archive or an actual mailbox?
    • How many (mailboxes) need to be migrated?
    • How much data is involved i.e. post office size?

  • Hi KBOYLE,

The GroupWise online mailbox is already migrated to O365.

The GroupWise archives are not migrated. Some people want to migrate those archives to O365.

We are looking for a solution where we can convert those GroupWise archives in bulk to PST.

The kernel tool works but you will have to do each archive one by one.

    Please tell me more...

    • How many users are involved?
    • Is there only one archive per user?
    • If not, how many archives are we talking about?
    • Approximately how much data in total?
  • Just a thought...since you are trying to move from a Micro Focus product to a Microsoft product, you might have better luck asking for help on Microsoft forums.  I would think that people with similar experience are probably more likely to be found hanging out there rather than here.
