Install GW Client from non-Novell Client?

Have a need to install GroupWise client at a non-Novell client workstation. This Windows workstation is on the same LAN segment as our GroupWise server and communicating but I'm unsure how to best authenticate to the\grpwise\software\client\win32 directory. We're employing LDAP, but I'm unable to determine the proper syntax when attempting to "Connect using different credentials" via the Windows box if possible. Trying to avoid dragging out any very old install media to get it done.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Option 1) add a client that can see that share
Option 2) add a service/protocal to the server that the client already
    knows (i.e. CIFS/samba as per Mark's post)
Option 3) Sneaker net it over by copying those files to a share that
the client can get to such as a CIFS/samba share or a USB Key.
