Changed appointments not syncing correctly in iOS 9

Using GW 14.0.2 and GMS 2.1 Build 230

Have a few execs who are not getting changed appointments synced correctly to phone. It's hit and miss - iPad with same iOS ver is OK, but iPhone still shows older time for appt.... sometimes.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Has been an ongoing issue with us. The last patch we applied helped quite a bit. We also deleted exec accounts from GMS/device and added back. But the issue just surfaced again after exec missed meeting - was a treat getting to hear that.

We'll be upgrading to GW R2 and then GMS R2 shortly, but wondering if we can correct in meantime.

Those issue arise from the activesync protocol:

Upgrade to gw14R2 and install a caldav server for calendar sync with
the devices is the way to go.

  • We're starting to see this, too, and in devices with earlier iOS
versions than 9. I know about what a treat it is to hear those execs on
    the subject of missed meetings.

So, if the solution is to install a caldav server, is there a trick to
pointing the iOS calendar to it, or does that just fall into place once
    the caldav server is present?

It has to be added as a seperate account in iOS/Android
