Deleted Appointments still showing in Cached mailbox

We have Groupwise 8.0.3 and our remote users are using cached mailboxes. Recently I have gotten complaints that when appointments are deleted, the deleted appointment still shows in their cached mailbox. In Online mode and on their mobile devices, the deleted appointments are deleted. That being said, the 2 users that are having this problem have Groupwise mailboxes roughly around 12GB. I have done GWchecks on both their "online" and cached mailboxes. I have re-indexed their cached mailboxes. Not sure what else to do.

    I remember such issues with Groupwise 8 with the caching mailbox (large mailboxes). I think I solved the issue with recreating the caching mailbox. I am not sure if I renamed the caching mailbox folder for this issue. My last support for these issue was some time ago...

  • Thanks Frank. I figured as much but was hoping that I wouldnt have to do that. Just takes so long to recreate the cached mailbox because the mailboxes are so big.
