is there a way to restore a shared calendar that has been deleted?

A user has accidentally deleted their shared department Calendar. Is there a way of restoring this?

Thanks

Thomas
  • You would need to restore the owning mailbox, or see if its still sitting in the trash. This can be done is several ways depending on how you back up GroupWise. If you are familiar with using restore areas, that would be the way to go, if not, become familiar with them. Then you can access the user's backup mailbox and restore any of the missing stuff.

But make sure the user in question is actually the owning user, and not just a recipient of the shared calendar, if they just deleted a share owned by someone else, that owning use could just re-invite them to access it.

And make sure the user did not just "lose" the calender by moving it some place else in their folder tree.
