You pass the id of the address book as the <container> element. You can filter on just contacts using the filter: <filter> <element> <op>eq</op> <field>@type</field> <value>Contact</value> </element> </filter>
To filter on multiple types, you need to make a compound filter. For example, to filter on groups and resources, you would have: <filter> <element> <op>or</op> <element> <op>eq</eq> <field>@type</field> <value>Group</value> </element> <element> <op>eq</op> <field>@type</field> <value>Resource</value> </element> </element> </filter>
