Getting GroupWise rule condition using Web Services SDK

Hi,

As I looked into the Web Services SDK documentation about "Rule", I couldn't find how to read the condition of the Rule. About the other fields it is just mentioned: "when the rule condition is True".
Is it possible to get the Rule condition using the Web Services SDK?

  • For the most part, the best / final documentation on the SOAP API is the
    schema itself. The documentation may become outdated as the schema changes.

    In this case the rule condition is reflected in the <filter> element.

    To understand the rules, you can create the rules in the GWClient.
    Then get a SOAP trace of the list of rules.
    It will help you understand how SOAP exposes the rules.

    (You also have the ObjectAPI documentation.)
    The SOAP API was based heavily on the Object API.
