Is there some feature or function you’ve really wanted to see in GroupWise?  Well now there’s a way to let both Micro Focus Product Management and the entire GroupWise community know what you are looking for.  It’s called the Ideas Portal and if you haven’t visited it yet—you really should!

The Ideas Portal can be found at https://www.novell.com/products/enhancement-request.html

Once there, just select the product you’d like to make an enhancement request for and once you’ve registered—you can begin to vote on current ideas as well as submit your own enhancement requests.

What’s nice about this new portal is that you get to vote on what you find important.  Plus you can also comment on the individual requests and give further details about what you need, why you need it, and what you expect to see in the enhancement.  Also—by visiting the GroupWise Ideas Portal—you can also see which enhancements are being planned on, which have been completed.

So what’s the most important thing you can do as a member of the GroupWise community?  Get out and vote on these enhancements!  No seriously—this isn’t a public service announcement.  You really should see what the top enhancements are—and vote for which ones are important to you.  If you don’t see your particular GroupWise need or want represented, put in your own idea and get the conversation started!

But what about a bug fix, you ask? While bug fixes aren’t enhancements—they are just as important to your success with GroupWise. If you feel there’s a bug with your current version of GroupWise, please fill out the bug report found here:  http://support.novell.com/additional/bugreport.html

From the many votes on the current enhancement requests, it’s apparent that there’s a vocal and vibrant GroupWise community out there.  If you aren’t participating in it, you are missing out!  So go visit the GroupWise Ideas Portal today and let your voice be heard!
