Pool Move Question

Greetings,

I have a question on a pool move, which I have never done before. I have a three node cluster all running OES2015SP1, one pool is 4TB, three LUN's using MBR and with just over 3.5 million files on it. I would like to create a new pool with 6TB using GPT. Looking at the procedure and playing with VM's, it appears that after the mirror<?> / copy <?> is complete, it will wait for a final response to complete the move and will expand the pool when completed. Not knowing how long this will take to move this amount of data, does the pool stay in sync until it is finalized?

It appears from what I have read that there should be no issue going from MBR to GPT, or from 4TB to 6TB, correct?

Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance,

Not quite. It doesn't expand, it moves it right into the size you
specify, aka the resulting pool will only consist of one part.

    Yes.

    Correct.
