  • It's on a client's site,
    and,,as stated;

Client is running Win XP pro,
    server is NW6/Sp3, standard ifolder...

So,, the ifolder version should be 1.01...
Don't have the name,, but,, it's the iFolder that comes
    with NW6...,,

Same thing goes for the client,, DL'd iFolder client
    from the NW6/SP3 server...

  • Here is what I got from Novell:

The map objects are the chunked data info for Ifolder.. ( The dir
    files
    are the directory info)

The map files are located C:\Program Files\Novell\iFolder\admin\Home

First I would see if he can create a file under that directory
Is there anything restricting him to be able to create files in that folder (zen policies??)

Is this error happening when he is trying to put a new file in
    ifolder?
When he is Syncing? Does this happen to all users or just one
    workstation?

  • Thanks 4 your efforts,,

These errors occurs on the CEO's homePC,
which is approx 1 month old.

The errors started to occur recently,
    1. It didnt happen with his previous PC (nt4)
    2. It didnt occur directly, = he's been running it for approxy a month

    without errors..

So,, no zen policy's or other restriction's, his setup as admin
    of his PC.

The error only occurs when starting/loggin in
( Not login to a network, just the WS )
Then the error occurs when the ifolder client autostarts...

    Btw,,
I really like "Åland",, but,, there were serious difficulties findinggood restaurants...,, I'll post a question here next time I come there

    for some advice....

    Thanks,

    Nope,, Not yet,
We're upgrading to BM 3.8 when it comes out,
    the we'll apply antivirus
  • Then I am out of clues. Can you try deinstalling the iFolder client
completely. Then wipe all traces of it and reinstall.

Feel free do drop in if you are in the neighbourhood. The company name

is Pedago and intelligent beings will know what to add to that to get
    a
    web address.

  • Well, I'll go see my client someday soon and check myself to see how
    and what happend,,

I guess removing ifolder and reinstalling it could be a pain if the
sync has to be done all over again,, he's using approx 3 GB's in his
    accout,,,

intelligent or not,, I found your page,,,, hell, I can even find
    mariehamn...,,

Btw, didnt you have another webpage b4 with some util's and demos up ?

Think I recall some tip from you in these forums a while back that
also pointed to an earlier webpage,, dont know if the company name was

    the same though....

I'll append to this thread if and when we find a solution or, if not
    else, the cause...

True, but it is the only thing I can think of. Alternatively log in
    from
another PC and see of the problem happens there as well? It could
literally be anything, including a failing harddrive in the PC.
