This driver, based on the generic NIM 2.0 LDAP driver, has been customized in order to work with Oracle Internet Directory(OID) 10g. It manages Users, Roles (dynamicGroups) and password(from eDir to OID).
Please consult this Powerpoint slideware in order to setup the NIM account for OID, and understand the components.
Please forward any feedback or comments to me by e-mail.
The major challenges overcome by this drivers are the required combination of classes for a functional OID users that allows the leveraging of the Enterprise User and Role concepts. Since Oracle 10g introduces Identity Management for the Oracle bubble and in some extent to third party directories(mainly Active Directory and Sun One) important differences emerges in comparison with OID 9ir1 or 9ir2.
