Make ASCII Files

Backup Applications occasionally have problems with Extended ASCII characters in file names. This script will create the character as individual file names, so that a backup can be performed and it can be determined if the backups were successful with all extended ASCII characters.

Usage:

From the Linux console prompt just type the name of the utility.
./makeAsciifiles.sh
This will create a directory called OddFileNames and files in that directory with ASCII and exteded ASCII file names.
