Applications stuck in LAUNCHING until terminated

We have a successfully deployed package of OFFICE 2010 on Zenworks 11 with one minor annoyance. Once you start any office application using the simple application shortcut bundle, the Zenworks Progress windows shows as LAUNCHING with the animation bar.

Once the application is closed, this action goes to complete.

I have tried a few basics such as adding a success return code of 0 but this did not fix the issue.

This is a minor annoyance as it does not stop the Zenworks agent deploying.
  • On the Advanced Tab for the "Launch Executable Action", make sure that
"No Wait" (Default) is selected instead of "When Action is Complete".

  • Ironically, this is why most of my other executables were doing it as I had set that on them... silly mistake
