Do not receive PRU-Updates

Hi,

at a ZCM 11.4.3 I got the last PRU in August 2017. Since then I get no
new PRU. If I click 'Check for Updates' in ZCC/Configuration/System
Updates I get "There are no new system updates available."

I am able to download the updates by hand and copied them to the server
as described in the documentation. But at least I know this should
happens by itself?!

What's should I check?

    You could try loader-messages and zcc.log, i have not had to troubleshoot that for a while so not sure if there is another.

    Keep in mind....ZCM 11.4.x is EOL in a couple of months.....
    Since you can still apply the last couple of PRUs that are likely to ship by hand...may not be worth the time....

    I would recommend making sure you can prep for a ZCM 2017 Upgrade.

    The Current version of ZCM 2017 is Update 2....
    Update 3 is due in June/July if I recall correctly....

    Indeed, the upgrade for ZCM2017 was in the pipe ... But there we had a
    lot of problems to get the Windows-Agent from 11.4.3 deployed ... :-\

    Is there a guide how to check the ZEN-DB if it is healthy for an upgrade?
    I am afraid that the PRU-Problem will stay after the upgrade to ZCM2017.

  • Note: Not being able to detect new PRUs is likely not a direct DB thing...and the issue may or not continue.

    Failure to "Apply" a downloaded PRU can often be fixed by cleaning up old PRU data in the DB.
    Failure to detect or download is less likely a DB issue.
    Especially if you can manually download and apply.
