Access Manager 5.0.1 to 5.0.2 Upgrade Issue

Had an interesting issue when trying to patch some IdPs and MAGs to 5.0 SP2 from 5.0 SP1.  During the JCC upgrade, I got a failed dependency issue:

Upgrading the Novell Access Manager Server Communications:
error: Failed dependencies:
novell-jcc = 5.0.1.0-147 is needed by (installed) nam-idp-pt2-5.0.1.0-147.noarch

I've never see that nam-idm-pt2 RPM before and I looked on other environments and didn't see it.  Turns out I had to remove all of these before I could upgrade:

nam-idp-pt3-5.0.1.0-147.noarch
nam-idp-pt1-5.0.1.0-147.noarch
nam-idp-pt2-5.0.1.0-147.noarch
nam-idp-upgrade-pt2-5.0.1.0-147.noarch
nam-idp-upgrade-pt1-5.0.1.0-147.noarch

No one seems to be able to tell me what these are or where they came from.  Any ideas? The upgrade seems to have worked ok otherwise.  The MAG has similar RPMs I have to remove.

I also noticed these left over 5.0.1.0-147 RPMs as the upgrade:

netiq-nam-idp-prereq-sles-5.0.1.0-147.noarch
nam-idp-naaf-files-5.0.1.0-147.noarch
nam-idp-b2cframework-5.0.1.0-147.noarch

Any ideas on why those were left behind?  The naaf one has a bunch of files in /tmp.  They don't seem to do anything, but just seems like sloppiness.
