Warning: NAM 5.0 SP4 Breaks PasswordFetch Class

Looks like NAM 5.0 SP4 is turning out to be another bad release like SP3. I seem to find a bug on every upgrade!

If you use the PasswordFetchClass (com.novell.nidp.authentication.local.PasswordFetchClass), do NOT upgrade to NAM 5.0 SP4.

NAM 5.0 SP4 breaks this method and it breaks it in a way that it is not easy figure out (you get a 500 error from the IdP).

Support is aware, no idea when a fix will be available.

Indeed it is not a walk in the park this upgrade. We have issues as well.

I'm still waiting for a fix for this. It's really truly unacceptable. Not sure what is going on there, but it's not good.

Its is SP1 all over again even issues solved in sp2 are back in sp4

I'm seeing problems now with audit events from the AGs and Extended proxy logs (see my other post). Have you seen either of those in SP4?
