Adding Selft Signed Certificate NAM metadata

Hi,

We have NAM 4.5.3 appliance. The NAM metadata already has an externally signed certificate attached with validity of 1 year.

We will have to renew this certificate each year, few days before the expiry.

We have created a Self Signed Certificate with validity of 5 years.

Question 1: Is it possible to add this certificate to NAM meta data in NAM 4.5.3?

And also the steps to change/add the certificat to NAM meta data.

Question2: Can we have both externally signed certificate and Self signed certifcate attached to NAM metadata?

1: Might I suggest you read the documentation : www.netiq.com/.../bfcvfuj.html

2: in NAM 4.5 it is not possible to have two signing certificates configured for the IDP. It has become a feature in on of the later NAM 5 versions, but it is not configurable via the admin console, only via direct editing of config files : https://www.microfocus.com/documentation/access-manager/5.0/admin/multi-ext-signing-cert.html
