New installed NAM 5.0.3 Admin Console on RHEL 8.6 does not start anymore after reboot

The ndsd daemon does not get started after rebooting a fresh installed NAM 5.0.3 Admin Console Server on on RHEL 8.6
running "ndsstat" returns:

root@ac01 ~]# ndsstat

[1] Instance at /etc/opt/novell/eDirectory/conf/nds.conf: ac01.O=novell.KGAST_TREE
Failed to obtain a NetIQ eDirectory Server connection to ac01.O=novell.KGAST_TREE or NetIQ eDirectory Server is not running
