Summary
In the rarest case where you have 2 identical environments, and you want to keep the OAuth Clients in sync (for failover purpose) you might want to consider manually synchronizing the OAuth Clients instead of using Code Promotion.

Situation
When you have 2 identical NAM environments (even with the same names) spread over 2 separate data centres and you need to keep your applications in sync.

Cause
Using Code Promotion as a synchronization tool will give you a lot of overhead. Code Promotion will not just synchronize 1 application, but it will synchronize everything. Even if you have an undetected error in you source environment, this will be synchronized to the destination environment. Or you might encounter that Code Promotion is failing in the process and then you can break more on the destination environment.
