It would be helpful if Advanced Authentication were to include a generic event called “SecureLogin” in its list of default events. It would also be helpful if SecureLogin were to use this event as the default event that gets set in the registry as the value for “Event” in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Novell\SecureLogin\AdvancedAuthentication.


This will tie the two products together more tightly. It will also allow SecureLogin to use a different chain with its AAVerify command than the chain used for the Windows Logon – without the need to manually create and link the new event. It would eliminate the need for using regedit as part of the setup for SecureLogin.
