Have been waiting for this to drop for a while, got reminded by support earlier today that this has been released.
Two key enhancements/features:
- Kubernetes Support (was already technically available via the IDM release bund, but marks the first time containerised deployments are available for standalone SSPR installs)
- Enhanced LDAP Proxy User Support for Accessing RESTful Web Services
Yet to find time to dig into it, but hoping that this will mean that docker containers will be available for all SSPR releases, not just the the one bundled in with IDM (which is generally a little behind the bleeding edge due to offset release windows for IDM and SSPR updates).
Has anyone else looked into deploying SSPR using helm charts? The certified scenarios are rather limited to AWS and Azure. Would be nice to see a local/development/demo example also.
The security improvement for those who use SSPR token verification via for example mail also seems a no-brainer to just enable. I wonder if that relates to an issue reported in the forums not too long ago where it was possible to hijack such a token for a completely separate user.
