Summary
Asset Model Import FlexConnector is only supported the duplicated IP Address if they are assigned network and zone. Even if the duplicated Asset Name could set manually from ESM Console, it is not supported from Asset Model Import FlexConnector.

Situation
When an asset is imported from Asset Model Import FlexConnector (Asset MIC) a Resource ID is assigned to the Asset Name. After that, if duplicated Asset Name is imported from Asset MIC, ESM finds the Resource ID assigned to the Asset Name.
So duplicated Asset Name is not imported from Asset MIC.
At the results, it will change/modify the attributes of the previous asset with duplicated Asset Name.

However, when an asset is created on Console,
new Resource ID is assigned even if duplicated Asset Name.

Resolution
Use unique Asset Name when assets are imported from Asset MIC.
