Dast 23.1 deployment in Linux RHEL 8.8 dast config tool issue

I am deploying 23.1 version of Dast in Linux RHEL 8.8 environment. After running the docker run command to configure environment using SampleSettings.json file successfully there is no tar file generated with shell scripts to pull and run containers. Also there is no DAST.ConfigurationToolCLI log generated to check the error.

Try changing your output directory to /root/DASTInstall instead of /root/DASTLogs.

The solution worked. Thanks !!

Now I am facing issue with the WebInspect sensor which is on docker even though the container is running I don't see the sensor available in SSC GUI.

I see this HttpRequestException in dast scanner log:

I would double-check the entries you have defined in your DAST Configuration file (json/yaml). It may be more beneficial to open a ticket with support for further investigation.

It appears your API container is up and running, but your sensor is having a problem starting. This could be an issue with how the sensor is configured or it is having a problem connecting to the SC DAST API container to "check-in".
