Fortify Software Security Center

Fixes

The patch includes bug fixes and quality enhancements that improve application stability. This patch fixes the following issues:

• Fixes a performance issue when requesting application versions. The issue was reported in the AUDIT page version dropdown.
• Fixes an issue where unrelated issue data from third-party plugins was being removed when deleting an application version.
• Fixes an issue when seeding report bundles.
• Fixes an issue where event logs for artifact download were not showing up.

• There are no documentation updates required for this patch. Use the latest versions of the documentation created for 23.1.0.

 Fortify Software Security Center Installation Notes

Note: Always back up your system before installing a patch.

To install this patch:

1. Unzip the 1.2_Server.zip file. You will find the following zip file: Fortify_23.1.2_Server_WAR_Tomcat.zip
2. Unzip the1.2_Server_WAR_Tomcat.zip file. It includes a patched version of the ssc.war file.
3. Stop the Tomcat server.
4. Navigate to the /webapps
5. Remove the 23.1.x version of the war file and replace it with the new ssc.war file.
6. Start the Tomcat server. Fortify Software Security Center will start up in maintenance mode.

            For information about maintenance mode, see the Fortify Software Security Center User Guide.

        7. Restart the Tomcat Server.
