Summary
Getting a "The write format 1 is smaller than the supported format 2" error in ScanCentral SAST after an upgrade of the Controller.

Situation
After upgrading SC SAST, the scancentralCtrl.log has the following error:

[ERROR]  org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoader - Context initialization failed
org.springframework.beans.factory.BeanCreationException: Error creating bean with name 'liquibase' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/databaseContext.xml]: Invocation of init method failed; nested exception is liquibase.exception.DatabaseException: java.sql.SQLException: Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (General error: "The write format 1 is smaller than the supported format 2 [2.1.212/5]" [50000-212])

Cause
This is caused by the SC SAST Controller being upgraded prior to upgrading Fortify Software Security Center (SSC) so the versions do not match.

Resolution
Upgrade SSC prior to upgrading the SC SAST Controller so that the version matches after the upgrade.
