Situation
Does SCA installation require administrative privileges?

Resolution
Fortify SCA does not require administrative privileges on Windows Server. For best performance, install SCA on the same local file system where the code to scan resides.

On non-Windows systems, kindly install Fortify SCA and Applications as a user that has a home directory with write permission. Do not install Fortify SCA and Applications as a non-root user that has no home directory.
