Completed Workflow Retention Duration

Hi ,

In User Application, i am trying to have the completed workflow request available for viewing for more than 365 days. But under the RBPM Prov - Engine and Cluster setting in user application, the valid days range is mentioned as 0 to 365 days. I would like to know if there is a workaround to increase the days range outside of this range. If yes, can you suggest the options ?

Thank you.

One way I can think of is to work with your DBAs to create an archival
database and copy completed workflows from the userapp database to the
archival one. That would persist the data, though accessing it would
require looking into the archival database as opposed to using
userapp so you won't have access to it via SOAP/REST endpoints nor UI.

You could also use the SOAP endpoints to query for completed workflows
within a time delta, normalize that and store that on a separated
database of your choosing. Similar overall idea as above, just not
dependent on database structure, just SOAP endpoint responses and
XML parsing (so should have less risk of changing between versions).

    Cheers,
