Permissions / Categories - access on idmdash

Hi,

Running IDM AE 4.7.
We have a few workflows that I have set up shortcuts for under Access/requests ant that do work well but people dont really find them.
So I discovered that now we can add categories directly under Applications and add permissions (workflows/roles etc.) to those categories.

The problem is that everyone can see the permissions added to the category under Applications while they do not show (correctly) under access.

I only want them to show if the user have permission to the workflow.

To me it seems as if the Application / category rights are not read from eDir but possiblt from the database?

Is this possible to achive? and how?

Thanks
Joakim

    Hi.

From version 4.7.2 you will controll these tiles from the Identity
Applications permissions. You can find these in the settings by clicking
your admin user name in the top right and then settings. The tiles you
added to the applications tab are listed here and you can set permissions.
Note that by default any user can see the tile until you restrict it.

Prior to 4.7.2 you cannot control the permissions for tiles on the
    application tab.

  • Brilliant, thanks.
We are apparently on 4.7.0 still. Will patch asap.
