onclick event for Tile field

Hi,

I have been using Stevens script for creating tabs on my workflow.
This works great and the tabs are selectable and when selected display
what should be displayed etc.

The tabs are of type String and Control type Title.
Now I have one last tab that I called verification and when that is
clicked I want to update that side with all the selected items from the
previous tabs.
The nicest way to do that would be to catch the event of clicking on the
tab but I cant get that to work.

Is this possible or do you have any other suggestions on how to trigger
an event from a title field, or moving out from in.

Cheers

  • Hi,

    i'm not sure, if this is caused by the script creating the tabs or if
    the onClick function ist not working with labels, but i can confirm that
    it is not working.

    here is a workaround:

    because you use already jquery and jquery-ui for creating the tabs, you
    can now use the jquery .on() method.

    Create a new inline script and include the following source code:

    Code:
    --------------------
    try {
    // on click select
    $(document).on('click', '#_yourTabTitle', function(){
    //your code
    });
    } catch(e) {
    console.error(e);
    }
    --------------------

    This works great!

    Thanks for a really clean solution! Easy to implement and update.
