Docker: iManager: Whats about the iManager.env file?

I try to start the iManager-Container (imanager:3.2.0) as it is described in Documentation but can not share the iManager.env file. I get the message:

docker: Error response from daemon: OCI runtime create failed: container_linux.go:346: starting container process caused "process_linux.go:449: container init caused \"rootfs_linux.go:58: mounting \\\"/data/iManager/iManager.env\\\" to rootfs \\\"/var/lib/docker/overlay2/1d41a233545646546546549c102af1d57a449e6cb1a4dc6b2d5105/merged\\\" at \\\"/var/lib/docker/overlay2/1d41a233649044546546354646b2d5105/merged/etc/opt/novell/iManager/conf/iManager.env\\\" caused \\\"not a directory\\\"\"": unknown: Are you trying to mount a directory onto a file (or vice-versa)? Check if the specified host path exists and is the expected type.

  • Hi,

please post your docker run command and also check the existence and access rights for the /data host folder.

The iManager.env file should be placed under /data not /data/iManager. The /data/iManager folder is reserved for the persistent configuration files.
