Get permalink to the Process Request

Hi! Customers need to start an exact Process Request with minimal steps
for their ServiceRequest team. So, is there a way to get a permanent
link to the exact Process Request in order me to put that link in the
left hand side in the "Identity Self-Service" tab? Or, maybe, there is
another way to allow users to run an exact Process Request just after
log in. If so, please, help me.
Thank you!

  • Hi,

if you want to initiate a new Process Request with a permanent link in
your menu, you could use the "ressource portlet".

    Greetings

    Greetings,
As outline by Sharakop, you can utilize the Resource Request Portlet
by adding an instance of this to a newly created Shared Page (under the
Identity Self Service area) where you would map it to a specific
Workflow. This portlet is outlined in the documentation.

You can create Deep links to specific Request forms as well (also
    outlined in the documentation).

You could create your own UI that utilizes the SOAP/REST endpoint.

The easiest approach for now would be the Resource Request Portlet.

Thanks a lot! I tried Resource Request Portlet and Deep link.
    Everething works perfectly!
But, unfortunately, the both dont't work when russian is set as a
defaulf portal language. They act in the same way. In case english is a
default language then after clicking on the Submit button a form is gone
and it is possible to see a special capture that explains that the form
is submited. However, when russian is a default language then after
clicking on the Submit button nothing happens. Firebug console doesn't
display any error messages. If to click on the Submit button once again
then firebug shows the message "ReferenceError: submitThenParent is not
defined" and an apearence of a form doesn't change.

If you have any suggestions, please help.
    Thank you!

    Greetings,
Just to clarify. What happens with the Resource Request Portlet if:
-The User Application portal's default language is English
-The user has either their browser set to Russian or their
    srvprvPreferredLocal to set to Russian

Do you see the success Page after pressing Submit?

We had a similar issue in the past where English and Spanish worked but
languages like French and German did not.

    Greetings,
You do not need to do the test. I just did and it appears that the
issue I outlined above did not fix Russian. I will log a bug and deal
    with it.

Please be aware that the form is actually submitted, you are just not
being re-directed to the "success" page.

Could you, please, specify the bug number in bugzilla? Would it help if
I will submit a Service Request? If I can somehow to increase the
priority level of that bug, please, let me know.

    Greetings,
This will be included in the next Public Patch for 402 (which would
be 402D, since 402C was released on 12-March-2013).
