IDM 4.7 - Problems with idmadmin # configuration views

Hi!

we have an environment with: eDir 9.1 IDM 4.7.1 in RHEL 7.5 . Its a new installation). Configuration tab is missing and all the sub menus which should be under configuration tab is displayed in the main menu along with Access , People etc

Also while login i see the below error:

/idmdash/#/dashboard (error shown: dashboard global tile settings not found)

we have not seen any clue in catalina.out. Has anyone encountered a problem like that? I will appreciate your help.

Thank you

    Can you try the following:

    1. Check your tomcat/conf/hibernate.cfg.xml file.

    The following two lines should be present (were missing for me). Add them
    if not.

    <mapping class="com.netiq.icfg.srv.persist.PageItem"/>

    <mapping class="com.novell.idm.nrf.persist.RequestCounter"/>

    NOTE: These two lines are added by 4.7.1 installer script and are not part
    of the base file as delivered by RPM

    2. Set "com.netiq.idm.rbpm.updateConfig-On-StartUp = true" in
    ism-configuration.properties.

    3. Restart tomcat.

    If that doesnâ€Tmt help, check your UA driver deployed correctly. (Should be
    at least 51 items under dn:
    cn=NavItems,cn=UIConfig,cn=AppConfig,cn=UserApplication,....) including at
    least one Dashboard* item.

    Try the standard stuff (drop and recreate tables), delete unpacked WARs and
    let them unpack again., clean temp and work dirs and restart.

    Is the RRSD driver running? Did it process correctly the initial UAadmin
    role assignments?
  • Hello,

    I just upgraded from IDM 4.6.x and get the same error.

    The hibernate file was ok.

    Did you find a solution ?

    thx

    Sylvain

  • OK - Solved , get the hibernate.conf.xml from my test system that was running properly.
  • Once I applied the 4.7.2 patch , it worked fine.
