Add a class

Hello everyone

I exported data from one server into ldif format and try to import into another server. With one part I get the error "Object class violation (65) additional info: NDS error: no such class (-604)". How Can I add a new class?

Regards

Alexander

    Not too much info...

Anyway, you can modify schema with a GUI tool such as iManager. "Direct" modifications via LDAP are also possible, of course. You might want to check this one

    https://support.microfocus.com/kb/doc.php?id=7008201

which lists a few examples. Please note that certain modifications won't be allowed due to conflicts with existing definitions. Changing the latter could possibly invalidate existing objects.

SkyPRO IDM Toolbox includes many great plugins, that can be a lifesaver for IDM/eDirectory admins

Directory Cloner allows copying data from one system to another (even systems with different schemas with/without transformation).

It also allows detecting schema differences and "resync" schema attributes/classes.
