It was brought to my attention that a branch was having issues (and have for a little while) with scanning via ftp ... I started looking into the issue and it looks like LUM is not starting.   I did all kinds of troubleshooting, eventually leading to doing a down server upgrade.   The issue followed.   We took the server out of eDirectory and put it back in.   The issue I am facing is startproc: No such user or user id: novlxregd ... I have verified this user exists.   LUM enabled it for the UNIX Workstation object.  Still getting the same error.  With out this LUM will not start, and NSS will not start.  Ive everified the certificates, even repaired the default certs and they are all valid til 2025.   eDirectory is running tho.  Ive tried ndsconfig upgrade -j ... namconfig -k ... Verified the /etc/nam.conf is pointed to its own IP and the alternative-ldap-server-list is pointed to my primary server.  Ive got a down system ticket in with MF, but I am not having any luck.   Anyone ran into something like this?
