    In case someone comes across this question, there should be an answer:

    a) Never do that if there is any chance your origin Master will come back. Having 2 Master is Disaster

    b) use ndsrepair -Ad -P , Select Partition, Choose 5 (Designate this server as the new master replica) and repeat for all partitions, beginning from [ROOT]

    Some considerations about Master Replica:

    Keep all Master on Single Server, make it eDir CA, CA CRL distribution point and EBA CA Server (I recommend a VM/Container and make frequent backups of it, saves you ton of issues when there is a need to restore. Make VM backup, eDir backup/restore to me almost always failed)
