I hope I'm in the right place for this, but I want to enable self-service password reset (the "Did you forget your password?" link on the Novell Client) to allow users to at a minimum reset their eDirectory password (unfortunately I cannot guarantee Windows (Active Directory) password sync with a eDir reset. I've been able to get that to work while in a NetWare 6.5 environment but I have transitioned my eDirectory to Windows server 2003 to avoid the 2038 issue. Unfortunately I do not have access to the sdidiag tool (the eDirectory 8.8 documentation states that it should be there if even with eDirectory 8.8 SP6)
"sdidiag.exe ships with the Windows version of eDirectory 8.7.3 or later. The file is available as part of a security patch (sdidiag22.exe) associated with TID 2974092."
eDirectory 8.8 SP6 is definitely greater than 8.7.3
Additionally, is it possible to define password policies from ConsoleOne? I do not have iManager for windows and no where seems to have it archived sadly
