iManager has an option to get rid of treename/servername input field when logging in:
I did not find this for Identity Console - is it possible to get rid of this or set a default value? For whatever reason Firefox does not save the value of this field - so the user has to enter it manually for every single login - which is quite annoying. Am I overlooking something?

I do not think you can "get rid of" it, but you can modify the login.html file to provide a default value. I know this works for "native" installation, haven't tried it with docker based deployment yet (I think it should be doable as well).
/var/opt/novell/identityconsole/login.html
You can modify the "value" property of the "input" element. E.g. where you can see the custom port 1636...
