IG Performance with Vertica

With the release of IG 4.2, he use of MS-SQL is being decommissioned. But my question is, does anyone have a record of IG performance with Vertica? Is it more efficient for larger volumes?  Because the cases that I know IG with Postgres is better than with Oracle.

    Hello,
       You can not utilize Vertica to install the product against / runtime.  You can only utilize Vertica as an External Archive location or Metric Storage location.

    For the 4.2 release the supported Databases for install/runtime are:
    MS SQL
    Oracle
    Postgres

    An upcoming Off-Cloud release after 4.2 MS SQL will be removed as a option for installation / runtime.  At that point the options will be Oracle or Postgres.
