Setting Category Values on Pemrission

I'm using an AD Application that collects permissions. (IG 4.2)

I have a need to set the Category value on a per permission based which normally I would do using a transform script on the permission collector.  However the Category field (entityCategories) does not appear on the list of permission attributes that can be collected/set despite being listed on the Permission Attributes configuration screen.

If you edit an already collected permission, you can of course set one or more categories on each permission.

Any suggestions on how to set the Category value during application permission collection ?
