IAM AE Permission Collector - import nrfLocalizied Attributes

Hello,

I wanted to read in additional attributes for permissions via the 'IDM AE Permission Collector', it's about the attributes 'nrfLocalizedNames' & 'nrfLocalizedDescription'.


I have added the attributes to "Additonal permission attributes to collect", as well as to "Permission Mapping". However, the two attributes are not read in at this point. For testing purposes, I have also added the attributes "CN" and "NrfRoleCategory", which are read in correctly.


Does the collector prevent the nrfLocalizedName attributes from being read in? The readout seems to work in principle, as it creates the permissions in the catalog cleanly with the display name/description.

    I see the same result -- Does the account that is reading this from eDir (via LDAP I think?) have access to that attribute?

    Yes, in this setup we are using admin/uaadmin as service users.(for the moment)

    I have spoken to colleagues and they have suggested that it is due to the syntax of the two attributes. Not the attribute definition, but how the values are stored. “en~XX|de~YY” - that the special characters are a problem here.

    However, we have now given up trying to read in the attribute. Unfortunately, we don't have the time to deal with this issue in detail.
