Admin console is too slow and How Policies & Roles stored in NAM?

Hi, We are running NAM 5.0.2 appliance. 

We see that the NAM Admin console response is too slow when we try to add add new policies and new roles. After fill out the page/form, click save and it takes more than a minute to get confirmation.

We want to know how does the policies, roles etc., stored in NAM? Are these details stored in an object in LDAP and/or in an xml attribute?

Also, Is there a way where we can add policies and roles via csv import or some other way without using admin console?

Please share your thoughts and suggestions.
