JavaScript HTTP error when http service proxied by NAM

Hi everyone,

I made a proxy service for an HTTP service via NAM, and the application shows me a HTTPS error when I try to download the page javascript files.

I think something in the HTTP rewrite is not working as expected.

Here is a screenshot from the error:

I had read that NAM by default changes the HTTP headers to HTTPS headers, but I don't think that actually works for our specific case.

Please if somebody have some idea what's happening I'll be so thankful.

Hi Iván Lorenzo,

Try adding:

http://your.domain.name
https://your.domain.name

Under "HTML Rewriting" -> "Additional DNS Name List"

If the problem persists, than you probably have the URL hard coded inside your javascript code. Note that NAM only rewrites standard HTML tags, not code inside scripts and variables.

If this is the case you must find the javascript function(s) that refers to the URL in question and either change the code or configure an specific rewriter for it.

Hi Bráulio,

This didn't work for me.

I'll inspect the JavaScript code to know how are the URLs being called.

If you have any more idea, I'll appreciate that.
