I couldn't find a way of monitoring critical servers stats for NetWare servers for trend analysis.... It's kinda crude but does the job for us, and a couple of people who've seen it thought it might be of wider interest.

This tool reads NDS for a complete list of servers in the tree, then gathers statistics for each server and optionally writes them out to log files.

  • Please contact me: I have a number of improvements potentially available, including email alerts, but it needs a bit of work to make them available outside my home shop, and as the utility doesn't support OES - some of the APIs used don't work on the OES platform and in any case many of the ststitics gathered aren't relevent to OES, I won't tidy up the code unless its in demand. What's here is fine to get a feel for what it does.
