ADDriver shutdown with error LDAP_OPERATIONS_ERROR

Hi,

I have IDM 4.8.1 with ADDriver running.

The driver shut down unexpectedly and the following error is seen in the trace file: LDAP_OPERATIONS_ERROR

Before that, there was an event on the publisher channel but the driver veto it. (That's fine because the driver has a rule to "veto" events on the publisher channel)

Does anyone know the cause of this error?

Hi Esilva,

Definitely, you have an issue on the AD side.

Try to increase the trace level for your Remote Loader. (For this troubleshooting I recommend RL trace level = 10. Later you will revert it back).

I can see many different cases with AD LDAP that can generate problem 5012 (DIR_ERROR). RL will point us to your specific issue.

Error 0x000020DB is ERROR_DS_MISSING_EXPECTED_ATT (An expected attribute is missing, https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/openspecs/windows_protocols/ms-erref/18d8fbe8-a967-4f1c-ae50-99ca8e491d2d)

What was the second operation that you send to AD that caused the fatal status?
