We are pleased to announce the release of a SaaS-based version of NetIQ Identity Governance. As a key component of our Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solution, Identity Governance helps organizations gain visibility into who has access to what, drive better access decisions, and demonstrate continuous compliance. This new deployment option offers organizations the added benefits of SaaS with the same rich capabilities as our on-premises version.

You’ll benefit from SaaS advantages such as lower upfront costs, scalability as you grow, and faster time to value through simplified configuration, deployment, and upgrades. As an existing customer, you can leverage your current investment and familiarity with NetIQ to move your organization toward a SaaS model, at the pace that works for you.
Support for hybrid environments:
Identity Governance includes a secure conduit to communicate from on-premises applications and identity sources (including Active Directory and Identity Manager Identity Vault) to the SaaS environment. You’ll be able to govern access to critical resources wherever they reside - on premises or in the cloud.
Enhancements to ldentity Governance:
This release includes multiple minor enhancements to policy management and request and approval, including support for policy import and export and improvements to search and view capabilities. (Note that these same enhancements will also be available in the next release of the on-premises version of Identity Governance.)

Identity Manager as a Service is also in the roadmap for this year. We're planning to add automated provisioning for SaaS applications in April, with on-premises automated provisioning planned for September. There are other parts of the roadmap that are related to IDM as a Service, with updates planned throughout the year.
Note that we are also planning several updates for the on-premises versions of IDM and IG so that we maintain feature parity between SaaS and on-prem.

Is this available for European customers and if not what is ETA for this? It would be nice to see if Identity Manager (including identity application) is available as SaaS option, focusing us developing solutions than spending time on running complex platform and product upgrades
