HI on NPUM Admin guide section 5.2.4 [using pcksh for complete session control], it provide a setting "set -o remote", but when set in user's ..profile...when user login , show bash:set: remote invalid option name. I need set it in /etc/profile.pcksh...but seem no any preveliged right (like I try to perform /sbin/yast...it show not root)....
when I perform set -o, it show much item and their status now.
Why are you wanting to use 'set -o remote'? When this is set, EVERY command that is NOT builtin is going to go through Command Control as if you had run the command 'usrun command' or for example 'usrun ls'.
A bit overkill if you ask me. If you set "set -o remote" you will have to make rules to accept commands like 'ls' and 'date' and 'whoami' etc.
IMHO, if you don't trust someone to have a privileged shell as root, then don't give them a privileged shell as root. Instead of giving them a full shell as root, grant them specific commands they use with 'usrun'.
